01 Dongtan Wetland Park

In winter, Dongtan Wetland rarely snows, but often has reed flowers floating all over the sky. The whirling reed flowers are either impressively light and soft, or delicately golden and solemn. And more importantly, they are splashed into a sea of silver flowers, leaving the vastness, warmth, gorgeousness, and vigor... Away from the hustle and bustle of the city, you can experience the long-lost peace and comfort of the countryside.

Here is an important station on the migration route of birds. The reed flowers take the wind to send greetings from the migratory birds. The waves are rolling like clouds falling into the world, fluttering with the wind. There are lots of reeds, some white, some yellow., Waterfowl hides in the reeds, occasionally rushing into the sky with a crisp sound.

02 Chongxi Sluice

A reed marsh is beside the waterway of Chongxi Sluice, where a vast expanse of water comes with the tide, and the reed marsh appears when the tide goes away. The small beach that used to be a reed marsh is now elegant and charming. The reed flowers, matching perfectly with the sunset, are swaying on the bank, rolling up and down, gentle but stubborn. In the sunset, every ray of light is refracted bright. What a unique sight in autumn and winter.

03 North Lake

The reed marshes in the North Lake are romantic and gorgeous before withering in winter. A gust of wind comes, and the windmill in the distance turns slowly. The wind also sweeps over the reeds in waves, bending them down and straightening them up. What a rustic charm! There are lots of wetlands and tidal flats in North Lake, which are good habitats for fish, shrimp, and birds. Stand by the North Lake at sunset, and feel the quietness and peace.

04 Chongming River Embankment

Invite some friends to walk along the river at a leisurely pace. The reeds on the stone road beside the river are rustling, and the river is booming. The snow-like reed flower looks like a graceful figure, wrapped in white velvet, with nodding and drooping eyes, like a beauty on the waterside.

Baozhen Wharf has become an online famous site in Chongming, luring photographers to take photos similar to scenes in European and American blockbusters. Seen from the riverside, the reed flowers far and near are stacked in layers. The waves of the reeds roll up to the distance. What a beautiful picture!

05 Chongming Countryside

Even if it is a casual walk, you can have some discoveries and insights into the ordinary scene. At the riverside of Chongming, you can always find the shadow of the reed flowers, as you sit quietly by the side in the wind. It seems that all the past events in my life have turned into thousands of acres of reed flowers in front of me, floating on the horizon.
