Recently, the Chongming Workers' Instrumental Performance Competition was held at Baozhen Youth Activity Center. This activity was hosted by the District Federation of Trade Unions, undertaken by the Baozhen Federation of Trade Unions, and co-organized by the Chongming District Workers' Service Center. 19 participating teams from various work fronts in Chongming performed brilliantly on stage, thus showcasing the style of employees in the new era.

The saxophone solo "Birds and Sagittarius", the pipa solo "Send Me A Rose", the erhu solo "Singing for Harvest", and the wind ensemble "Red River Valley"... At the event, various instruments took turns to debut, and with the wonderful performances of the contestants, the audience enjoyed a wonderful music feast.

Contestant He Lichang hoped that the District Federation of Trade Unions would build platforms to provide more opportunities for music enthusiasts and instrument enthusiasts to exercise on stage.

To ensure fairness, impartiality, and openness in the competition, multiple senior experts were invited to serve as judges to appraise the programs. During the break, four of the judges also performed brilliantly on stage, which won continuous applause.

The competition aimed at employees in government agencies, enterprises, and public institutions in Chongming. As one of the activities of the 2023 Chongming Workers' Culture and Art Festival, the Chongming Workers' Instrumental Competition showed the performance of Chongming’s employees, added radiance to the amateur life of employees, and led all the employees to promote the building of a world-class ecological island to a high standard.
