On June 14, the Blood Station of Chongming District held a theme publicity activity of the World Blood Donor Day. On that day, 36 teachers from the Chengqiao Area signed up for blood donation.

At 08:30, at the gate of the Blood Station of Chongming District, blood donation volunteers lined up early. Most of them were teachers from Chengqiao area. Filling in forms, physical examination, taking peripheral blood for examination … The scene was in good order. The volunteers who passed the screening of blood donation indicators stretched out their arms and clenched their fists. The warm blood flowed into the blood bag through the blood collection vessel, storing the hope of life.

Li Yuan, 33 years old, comes from Yangzi Middle School. Since her first blood donation at the age of 18, Li Yuan has participated in voluntary blood donation for more than ten years, with a cumulative blood donation of more than 4,000 ml. she is a true blood donor. But she is not satisfied with this. Now she wants to drive more people around her to participate in voluntary blood donation.

Blood donation does not need "prehistoric power", only a little courage. Every free donation is the transmission of love, and every hot blood is the relay of life. According to the statistics of the Blood Station Chongming District, 56 whole blood samples were collected on the same day, totaling 11,200 ml.
